[Review] Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain

Ysl Yves Saint Laurent Glossy Stain review
After purchasing my first YSL Glossy Stain, i absolutely fell in love the stain. The full name for the stain is Rouge Pur Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain. YSL offers a countless number of shades ranging from pinks, reds to oranges.
YSL have two different glossy stains:
- Original Line
- Rebel Nudes

As for my personal choice i prefer the Rebel Nudes, as the /colour payoff is quite sheer

At the moment i own 3
#15 Vinyl Rose

#104 Fuchsia Tomboy (Rebel Nudes)
#112 Dangerous Pink (Rebel Nudes)

Number 15 is a frosty pink rose colour with silver shimmers
Number 104 is a purple toned pink colour that has gold shimmers

Number 112 is a pink reddish colour with gold shimmers.
(The shimmers aren't very noticeable on the lips but it adds a nice touch to the colour)

The Glossy Stain is a 3 in 1 product, it aims to act as a stain, gloss and lipstick.
The texture is smooth and when applied on the lips there is a gloss, this gloss eventually fades in 1-2 hours, but what you have left is a beautiful stain on your lips. The stain lasts for 3-4 hours even after eating.
There is an alcoholic smell to it, if you dislike any scent i suggest you steer from this product, i personally don't find the scent bothersome or anything like that. After a while the stain can be drying on the lips but this normally happens with other stains too.

I have read that lighter shades don't show up on your lips, so i suggest you play around with the colours before committing to a purchase, as these are quite expensive. I paid $52AUD at Myer (Department Store)

PROS:                                   CONS:
- Long lasting stain                - Expensive
- Large colour selection         - Can be drying

Have you tired the YSL glossy stains before? If so, what do you think of them?
