If you have never heard of real technique brushes, they are by two lovely girls by the name of Sam and Nic Chapman. They have both created a wonderful range of brushes that are excellent in quality and also very affordable compared to brands such as sigma and MAC.
They have quite a large range from multi tasking brushes to fine lip liner brushes.
For the festive season Real Techniques have created a Deluxe Gift Set* containing the essential brushes required for the perfect makeup look.
The set includes a
- Multi task brush - I love how for this brush i can use it for anything, either bronzer, blush or powder.
- Tapered foundation brush - It's quite unique how this brush is quite dense and thicker compared to your usual foundation brush, some how i found that apply foundation was easier to apply and i could still reach into my nose and mouth area.
- Angled highlighter brush - Usually i do apply a liquid highlighter with my fingers but with a brush and a liquid highlighter it still works out pretty well.
- Base shadow brush - Compared to the original eyeshadow brush i found that this one was more flat and smaller which was something i really appreciated. I do not have a large eyelid space so application was a easier.
- Fine liner brush - Personally i hate using gel eyeliner but with this brush i decided to have a go, surprisingly because of this review i had try out this brush, i actually quite like using gel liner much more.
- Clutch - Even though its white on the outside the inside is a silver colour which is good for storing makeup brushes on the go.
Previous i have purchased the
- A multi tasking brush
- Foundation brush
- Eyeshadow brush
- Kabuki brush
I have used them on a daily basis since around a 18 months, with weekly washing. I have found that they haven't started shedding or anything like that.
I love Real Techniques brushes! Ive been using mine daily for over a year now and they're just as good as they were when I first bought them. Such great value for money.

Thanks for reading dear ~
DeleteThese brushes sound lovely. I have yet to own any RT brushes, it's weird cos I always want to get them but when I see them in the shop I never get them. Maybe it's cos I already own brushes so I just cannot justify getting new ones. I also lately have actually been using my finger to apply my eyeshadow and almost like this technique better than using brushes.
