Favourite Fragrances

Since summer will be over in a month (AUSTRALIA), I wanted to share my favourite summer scents with you guys. I have 2 perfumes that i mainly stick to, then a few others i wear occasionally.

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDT

Floral, citrus, fruity, sweet, white floral and fresh spicy
This is definitely my favourite perfume, if i could only own one perfume it would be this one. Even though it's a EDT, i love how long lasting this is, the scent actually lingers on my clothes for a few days. I would say that this is a very feminine scent and probably best worn in the day time rather than night. 

Versace Bright Crystal EDT

Floral, circus, aquatic, fresh and wood.
Compared to Chance this is a very soft perfume, it's not very long lasting but i like how it's soft and gradually fades to nothing. This is also a floral/citrus scent. One of my favourites because of how affordable it is. 

 As you may have notice i quite like floral/citrus scents, i use this as a guide for later on. If a particular perfume contains floral and citrus notes then there's a high chance I'll like it.

 Something simple as picking a perfume can be confusing, so i've listed below the strengths, from strongest to weakest. 

Parfum - Strongest 
Eau De Parfum - Moderate 
Eau De Toilette  - Weak
Mist - Weakest

 Even thought a perfume may come in both EDP and EDT they wont be the same - not only will the EDP be stronger, usually there is more of a particular note compared to the EDT. 

 On my to buy list would be
  • Balenciaga - Florabotanica
  • Gucci - Envy Me
  • Yves Saint Laurent - Parisienne

    Have you tested out Gucci Guilty? You may like that one, great evening scent. I used to love Chanel's Chance but sometimes it made me sneeze haha!

    Oooo, I might have a look at these. Citrus scents are some of my favorites, closely followed by florals. Currently some of my favorites are Fresh Life and Bvlgari Omnia Coral. Both of them are samples, unfortunately - I might take the plunge for the Bvlgari one once it runs out.

    I like Bright Crystal. I have Balenciaga - Florabotanica perfume. I love the scent. I'm not big fan of overly floral scents but Florabotanica is really great. It's quite strong so you need to be careful when applying. I would say it's more for a nigh time. Lasts a long time on my skin.
